How to distinguish between MindWave Mobile and MindWave Mobile plus?

MindWave Mobile+ is a later version of MindWave Mobile which embeds an upgraded BT/BLE dual mode module and TGAM. Since both versions are simply labeled "MindWave Mobile" on the package, the naming of headset has caused a little confusion.

Fortunately, there are several quick ways to check which version of MindWave Mobile you have.
1. On the MindWave Mobile+ headset, you will find a "+" symbol after the words "MindWave Mobile" on the headset's blue sticker:

  1. On the MindWave Mobile+ headset box, you will find a sticker including a QR code to guide you to download the new Tutorial app.
